Leading school administrators bring to the forefront the critical need to accelerate reading instruction and student learning through advances in educational research and science across disciplines. Sharing challenges of implementing the science of reading in their schools and calling for educational leaders, superintendent, principals and curriculum directors to make a significant commitment to form long term partnerships with educational researchers, to better inform instruction in the classroom and support literacy development in all U.S. schools.
